BIO:

Gary has 24 FAA certificates and ratings. He has been a Certified Flight Instructor since 1975 and has accumulated over 3,000 hours of flight instruction. Gary is a retired military aviator who flew helicopters for the United States Army and Coast Guard. He also has 16 years of faculty experience in accredited collegiate aviation programs, i.e., Emery Riddle Aeronautical University, Central Washington University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Auburn University, and Louisiana Tech University. Gary has flown helicopter EMS and worked for the Department of Interior as an ASMEL and rotorcraft commercial pilot evaluator. He owns a hot air balloon and competes in races throughout the southeastern United States during the summer and fall seasons
